Zhongshan Meido Cosmetics Industry Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its near-term science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction target has been validated by SBTi Services.
​

The approved target is:
Zhongshan Meido Cosmetics Industry Co., Ltd. commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2025 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions.

The validation provides Zhongshan Meido with a clear and measurable framework for addressing greenhouse gas emissions across its operations. The target supports the company’s efforts to integrate climate considerations into operational planning and long-term business development.

Our Next Steps
To support the achievement of this target, Zhongshan Meido will focus on:
1.Improving energy management and operational efficiency;
2.Identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 emissions;
3.Measuring and progressively reducing relevant scope 3 emissions;
4.Engaging suppliers and business partners on value-chain emissions;
5.Monitoring emissions and publicly reporting progress against the approved target annually.
